Oneway Ticket Studios has officially launched The Midnight Walkers in Steam Early Access on PC, inviting players into a tense, unforgiving zombie survival shooter where extraction is never guaranteed. After turning heads during October’s Steam Next Fest—where it ranked among the top ten most downloaded demos—the game has now surpassed 300,000 wishlists on Steam ahead of today’s release.
Set inside the sprawling, multi-floor Liberty Grand Center megacomplex during a zombie outbreak, The Midnight Walkers throws players into a deadly scenario orchestrated by the mysterious and megalomaniac Mr Nobody. Survival isn’t just about dealing with the undead — other contestants are just as dangerous.

Blending PvE and PvP into a single high-pressure loop, the game tasks players with scavenging for valuable loot and gear across multiple floors while fighting off both zombies and rival survivors. Combat leans toward gritty, close-quarters chaos, with weapons ranging from sledgehammers, bows, and katanas to pistols, ensuring every encounter feels risky and personal.

As each run unfolds, poison gas steadily floods the complex, forcing players to abandon floors and relocate via stairwells or elevators. This constantly shrinking safe zone funnels players together, increasing tension and making extraction harder the longer you stay. The closer enemies are, the more dangerous it becomes to escape — creating nail-biting moments where you either make it out with your gear… or lose everything.

Oneway Ticket Studios has confirmed that The Midnight Walkers will continue to evolve throughout Early Access. Planned updates include new weapons, additional floors, and an entirely separate PvE mode slated for release later in 2026.

According to Game Director Ray Song, the team is committed to using Early Access as a collaborative process rather than a safety net. The goal is to refine and expand the experience alongside the community while maintaining a strong level of quality from day one.

The Midnight Walkers is available now on PC via Steam Early Access. If you’re looking for a hardcore zombie shooter that combines extraction mechanics with relentless pressure and player-driven chaos, this is one outbreak worth stepping into. Wishlist, squad up, and see if you can survive the Liberty Grand Center.
