High-octane motorcycle simulator LANESPLIT has officially launched on PC via Steam today, challenging players to flirt with disaster as they blast through dense traffic at breakneck speeds. Developed by solo creator FunkyMouse, the game delivers a pure, adrenaline-fueled experience focused on precision riding, reflexes, and flow, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions planned for later this year.

LANESPLIT puts players directly in the danger zone, where brake lights smear into glowing streaks of red and white and every split-second decision could mean glory—or a violent crash. The game’s environments span tunnels packed with traffic, neon-lit cityscapes, alpine mountain roads at night, and twisted highways inspired by real-world locations, all presented with a heavy emphasis on speed, motion, and atmosphere.

Players can choose from 15 high-performance motorcycles, each affected by road conditions and weather. Dry streets allow for aggressive lane splitting and quick maneuvers, while wet asphalt demands careful throttle control and maximum traction. The game’s dynamic conditions force riders to adapt on the fly, rewarding awareness just as much as raw speed.

LANESPLIT offers multiple ways to ride. Rush Hour Mode throws players into dense traffic, testing reaction time as “responsible” drivers unexpectedly merge and change lanes. For a more meditative experience, Zen Mode removes traffic entirely, letting players focus on speed, control, and perfect lines. Across both modes, high scores are earned by going faster—and closer to danger—without crashing, with global leaderboards tracking the bravest riders.

Customization options let players tweak clothing and helmet designs, while tight controls, responsive physics, and heavy motion blur help sell the sensation of velocity. An energetic drum-and-bass soundtrack ramps up alongside the speedometer, pushing players into a high-risk flow state where instinct takes over.

“The support LANESPLIT has received from the motorcycle community has been monumental, and I cannot thank them enough for spreading the word about my game,” said Shakya Ranatunga, founder and solo developer at FunkyMouse. “Whether riding solo or with friends, amid rush hour traffic or with the road all to yourself, there is no wrong way to become king of the road here.”

LANESPLIT is available now on PC via Steam for $17.99, with English language support at launch. Console riders can expect PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions to arrive later this year. For fans of pure speed, razor-thin margins, and the thrill of threading the needle through traffic, LANESPLIT delivers exactly what its name promises.
