Cosy vibes are officially global. Heartopia, the multiplayer life simulation game from XD Games, has launched on PC and mobile—and it’s already made a massive impact, topping the App Store’s free game charts across more than 50 countries and regions worldwide.
Designed as a laid-back social sandbox, Heartopia lets players build dream homes, customise their characters with a wide range of outfits, and explore colorful towns at their own pace. Each town can host up to twelve players, opening the door to casual hangouts like tea parties, mini concerts, games, and relaxed social play. Prefer to keep things solo? The game’s social features are fully adjustable, making it just as welcoming for lone creatives.

At launch, Heartopia features seven major hobbies: cooking, gardening, cat care, dog care, insect catching, bird-watching, and fishing. Collecting creatures boosts hobby levels and unlocks high-star collectibles, encouraging players to explore and experiment without pressure.

Home building and decoration play a huge role as well, with new plots, furniture, blueprints, and materials unlocked through daily quests and progression. Creativity goes even further thanks to in-game tools that let players paint custom designs on clothing, furniture, and canvases—or even write novels and compose music.

To celebrate launch, XD Games is offering generous rewards to early players. Pre-registered users receive a bundle of premium items, while special codes grant additional Moonlight Crystals through February 7. Bonus login rewards will also be available from January 31 to February 16.
Content updates are already lined up, with seasonal Fashionwaves and Festivals set to refresh the experience regularly. The first major update, Winter Frost Season, arrives in late January and introduces icy activities like skating, snowman building, and penguin-themed outfits.

Looking ahead, XD Games has confirmed Heartopia’s first official collaboration: a crossover with My Little Pony launching in early February. The event will add themed outfits and vehicles, with more details to be revealed soon.
Heartopia is available now on PC (via the official website), iOS, and Android, with a Steam release planned for later in 2026.
