Creepy Jar, the Polish studio best known for the survival hit Green Hell, is back with a brand-new challenge—and this one is set on a planet ready to explode. StarRupture is available now in Steam Early Access, inviting players to test their survival instincts on the hostile world of Arcadia-7.

Designed for solo play or co-op with up to four players, StarRupture blends survival, base building, automation, and defensive combat into a single high-pressure experience. Early Access marks a major milestone for the studio, building on years of experience and extensive community feedback, with plenty more content planned on the road to version 1.0.

Survive a World on the Brink

Arcadia-7 is as beautiful as it is deadly. Players must gather resources, build sprawling industrial systems, and defend their base from relentless alien threats—all while keeping an eye on the planet’s unstable star, Ruptura. When Ruptura erupts, the results are catastrophic, forcing players to plan ahead or risk losing everything.

Combat comes from multiple angles, whether it’s aggressive Vermin attacking your structures or the environment itself turning hostile. Success depends on smart planning, efficient automation, and knowing when to fight—or flee.

    Shaped by the Community

Ahead of launch, Creepy Jar ran two dedicated playtests—one focused on solo gameplay and another on co-op. That feedback paid off, with playtesters delivering a strong 92.4% positive rating. Now that Early Access is live, the developers plan to continue refining the game hand-in-hand with the community.

To set expectations, Creepy Jar has also released StarRupture’s first development roadmap, outlining new features and improvements planned over the coming months.

Life as a Prisoner on Arcadia-7

In StarRupture, you’re not a hero—you’re a prisoner. Sentenced to work on a distant planet, your job is to extract resources and build factories for powerful corporations that couldn’t care less if you survive. Between hostile creatures, brutal conditions, and a star that can wipe the surface clean, staying alive is never guaranteed.
