The game is set to launch in early 2026 across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.
Unveiled as part of this year’s Tiny Teams Festival (Aug 7–14), Rhell mixes environmental puzzles, story-driven exploration, and creative spellcasting with a sandbox twist. With 40 runes and over 102 million possible spell combinations, players will use one to five keywords to concoct unique magic for nearly every challenge the world throws at them.
Spellcasting That Encourages Pure Creativity
In Rhell, there’s no single solution to a puzzle. You choose how to approach obstacles using the spell combos you’ve discovered—want to melt a frozen lake, teleport through a gap, or blast a path forward? You can… if you figure out the right keywords. It’s puzzle-solving through experimentation, where creativity is not just encouraged—it’s essential.

Meet Rhell — and Her Trusty Beetle Buddy
You’ll play as Rhell, a short-tempered mage on a journey to uncover the truth behind the strange disappearance of people in her world. She’s accompanied by Beesle, a talking beetle who dishes out cryptic hints and sass in equal measure. As Rhell unravels the world’s secrets, she’ll also confront her own emotional growth and relationships, with multiple outcomes depending on the puzzles you solve and characters you meet.
