Independent studio Cognition Europe has unveiled its debut title, Lunar Strike, a science-driven narrative adventure set on the Moon’s south pole. Announced during FGS Live at gamescom, the game is coming to Steam and consoles in 2026, with wishlisting available now.

The year is 2119, and humanity’s final lunar colony faces destruction from an impending cosmic threat. You play as a tech-augmented archivist, racing against time to preserve humanity’s cultural and scientific heritage before it’s lost forever.
