Alawar has officially kicked off the first public playtest for Wall World 2 on Steam, giving players an early chance to try out the highly anticipated follow-up to the breakout indie hit. Originally revealed during the Humble Games Showcase earlier this year, the sequel levels up everything fans loved from the original with new biomes, deeper systems, and even weirder surprises hidden in the mines.
In Wall World 2, players once again pilot a robospider-tank hybrid as they scale and mine their way along an endless vertical wall. While dodging waves of enemies and drilling deep into shifting mines, you’ll collect resources, unlock ancient tech, and upgrade your gear between runs. It’s part tower defense, part roguelite, and all wrapped in an oddly mesmerizing loop of survival and discovery.
