Ground of Aces, the upcoming WWII base-building strategy game from Swiss-Polish indie studio Blindflug Studios, is officially set to enter Early Access on July 10, 2025, for Windows PC and Mac.
Set against the backdrop of World War II, the game puts players in charge of an airbase during one of history’s most turbulent periods. You’ll manage your base, direct operations, and lead your crew through the pressures of wartime survival—all while adapting to historical events like the Battle of Britain.
Following a well-received demo earlier this year, Blindflug is ready to launch the full Early Access experience. Executive Producer Moritz Zumbühl notes that the release date was chosen with care—landing exactly 85 years after the start of the Battle of Britain. “July 10 is our D-Day,” he said. “We’ve worked closely with the community, and now we’re excited to put the game in players’ hands.”
