NSR2 Turns the Volume Up for a Global Musical Showdown

Coming in 2026!

The band is back—and they’re going global. No Straight Roads 2 (NSR2), the long-awaited sequel to the cult-favorite music action-adventure No Straight Roads, is officially rocking its way to PC and consoles in 2026. Developed by Metronomik and published by Shueisha Games, NSR2 is taking the rhythm-based combat, wild boss battles, and stylish world of the original and cranking everything up to 11.

From Vinyl City to a World Tour

Mayday and Zuke return as the faces of Bunkbed Junction, but they’re not going it alone this time. NSR2 introduces two brand-new playable bandmates, each bringing fresh musical flair and their own combat styles to the crew. Whether you’re into shredding solos or experimental sounds, this sequel promises a deeper, more dynamic gameplay experience.

NSR2 expands the stage far beyond Vinyl City, sending players on a worldwide tour filled with bold new cities and genre-bending rival acts. Expect to clash with musicians across folk, jazz, punk rock, digital pop—and probably some bizarre mashups only NSR could dream up. Every stop on the tour brings unique musical cultures, new enemy types, and wild boss fights dripping with personality.

Beat-Driven Battles and Bigger Stages

Combat in NSR2 is tighter and more action-focused than ever, while still keeping rhythm at its core. The revamped system adds combo-based link attacks, team synergy moves, and all-new environmental interactions as you fight your way to the top of the charts.

Backing the action is an all-star lineup of returning and new music talent, including James Landino, Falk Au Yeong, Garrett Williamson, and Midas Klare (Inverted Silence), with more surprise guest artists still to be announced.
