Meridiem has officially confirmed the upcoming release of the Elsie – Magitek Edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, launching on July 10, 2025. Developed by Knight Shift Games and digitally published by Playtonic Friends, Elsie is a rogue-like action-platformer that incorporates procedurally generated levels, fast-paced combat, and extensive customization options.
The Magitek Edition, manufactured and distributed by Meridiem, includes a physical copy of the game, a themed case, a character book, and a sticker sheet.
Set on the planet Ekis, Elsie follows the story of Dr. Grey, a scientist who once engineered a group of androids known as the Guardians. Powered by a unique energy source called the Arclight Core, these androids protected the planet from natural disasters. However, their sudden disappearance triggered a new crisis, marked by catastrophic events and an invasion of hostile robots. In response, Dr. Grey creates Elsie, a final prototype built to locate the missing Guardians and restore order.
