Horror fans, get ready—I Hate This Place is coming to haunt your screens in Q4 2025. Developed by Broken Mirror Games in partnership with Skybound Entertainment, this open-world isometric survival horror game is based on the Eisner-nominated comic series by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin. Set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, the game marks a new entry in a horror label under Bloober Team—the minds behind The Medium, Layers of Fear, and the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake.

A Comic Book Nightmare Brought to Life
With a bold, ‘80s-inspired comic book aesthetic, I Hate This Place throws players into a twisted world where reality bends, nightmares bleed into the waking world, and danger lurks around every corner. As Elena, you’ll fight to survive against supernatural horrors after accidentally awakening a dark, malevolent force. Outgunned and overwhelmed, you’ll need to be clever—using the environment, crafting tools, and strategically fighting to stay alive.

Expect tense gunfights, brutal melee combat, and a dynamic day-night cycle that changes how threats behave. Find and secure safehouses before nightfall, or risk being hunted in the shadows. And whatever you do… stay away from the Horned Man.
