Players step into the shoes of Soyeon, a high school student leaving her evening class only to find that the familiar streets around her have changed. The alleyways stretch endlessly, the exit never appears, and a bracelet gifted by her shaman grandmother suddenly begins to glow—signaling that something supernatural is close.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-42956" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/04.jpg" alt="The Alley screenshot 2" width="1706" height="960" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/04.jpg 1706w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/04-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/04-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/04-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/04-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/04-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/04-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/04-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1706px) 100vw, 1706px" /></p>
<p class="p2">At its core, <span class="s1"><i>The Alley</i></span> revolves around anomaly detection. The bracelet warns that something in the environment isn’t right, and it’s up to the player to uncover what it is. Suspicious objects and strange occurrences must be photographed and sent to Soyeon’s grandmother via MMS for judgment. Players must determine whether what they’ve found is a Ghost Trace—something impossible in the real world—or a Ghost Feint, an unsettling but plausible event. Every correct call moves you closer to the truth, while mistakes invite something far more dangerous.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-42957" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/06.jpg" alt="The Alley screenshot 3" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/06.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/06-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/06-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/06-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/06-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/06-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/06-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/06-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p2">The horror experience is deeply rooted in Korean folklore, drawing inspiration from mudang shamanism and generational spiritual traditions. The development team at AIXLAB has spent years refining atmospheric horror environments, recreating the look and feel of real Korean backstreets with careful detail. The narrow alleys, storefronts, and signage all feel authentic—yet just slightly wrong—creating an unsettling sense that you don’t belong there.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-42958" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/08.jpg" alt="The Alley screenshot 4" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/08.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/08-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/08-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/08-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/08-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/08-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/08-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/08-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p2">The demo also introduces some of the game’s most intense moments, including ghost chases where players must sprint for survival as a vengeful spirit closes in. When danger appears, hesitation can be fatal.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-42959" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/13.jpg" alt="The Alley screenshot 5" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/13.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/13-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/13-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/13-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/13-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/13-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/13-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/13-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p2">Before arriving on Steam, <span class="s1"><i>The Alley</i></span> already generated attention in Korea, landing in the Top 10 at the 2025 STOVE Indie Awards and inspiring more than 2,000 streams from local creators. The demo supports multiple languages including English, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-42960" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/15.jpg" alt="The Alley screenshot 6" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/15.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/15-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/15-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/15-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/15-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/15-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/15-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/15-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p2">Players curious to experience a different style of horror rooted in Korean culture can try the free demo now on Steam and see if they can escape the maze before the darkness catches up.</p>
