Set within a decaying megastructure deep beneath a nightmarish world, SATED places players inside a moving tram kitchen that continuously descends into increasingly dangerous territory. Along the way, players encounter a variety of monstrous customers, each with their own bizarre cravings and unique preferences. Success depends on preparing meals that meet their expectations while managing limited resources and the unpredictable nature of the game’s central mechanic.

At the heart of the experience is a cursed, sentient refrigerator that functions like a twisted slot machine. Players spin the refrigerator to obtain ingredients, ranging from organs and insects to industrial waste, batteries, and even human eyes. Every spin is a gamble, and the ingredients received can determine whether a dish becomes a culinary masterpiece or a disastrous creation with unintended consequences.

Cooking in SATED revolves around experimentation and risk. The order ingredients are placed into recipes matters, and a single mistake can transform a meal into something cursed, mold-infested, or even alive.
