When an opportunity arises to help produce a documentary about the derelict Whiteroot Hotel, she sees it as her chance at adventure—and perhaps a shot at being discovered. The hotel itself has stood empty for nearly two decades after a series of unexplained deaths led to the downfall of its wealthy founders, leaving the once-promising destination abandoned and forgotten.

Local residents speak of an ancient entity known as the Crimson Stag, a mythical spirit said to roam the surrounding forests. Some claim it is a guardian of the land, while others whisper darker interpretations. Whether folklore or something far more real, the legend quickly becomes impossible to ignore as Brit begins exploring the decaying halls of the hotel.

Under the guidance of professional ghost hunter Emily, Brit’s investigation soon spirals into something far more dangerous than expected.
