<p class="p4">The studio has released a demo for <span class="s1"><i>Hope in the City</i></span> as part of the Choice Matters Festival hosted by Telltale on August 10. The game has also been selected for the official Busan Indie Connect Festival in South Korea.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-45080" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/9.jpg" alt="Hope in the City screenshot 7" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/9.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/9-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/9-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/9-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/9-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/9-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/9-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/9-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p4">Created by the team behind the 2026 GDC Best in Play winner <span class="s1"><i>Sky of Tides</i></span> and Annie Award-nominated <span class="s1"><i>Eternal Spring</i></span>, <span class="s1"><i>Hope in the City</i></span> puts players in the role of a teenager forced to deal with a personal crisis far beyond her years.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-45074" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/1-1.jpg" alt="Hope in the City screenshot 1" width="1920" height="1079" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/1-1.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/1-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/1-1-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/1-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/1-1-1536x863.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/1-1-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/1-1-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/1-1-1200x674.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p4">After returning home to discover that her parents have disappeared, Hope refuses to sit around waiting for answers. Instead, she begins investigating their disappearance herself, documenting clues and observations in her notebook as she searches for connections.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-45076" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/3-1.jpg" alt="Hope in the City screenshot 3" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/3-1.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/3-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/3-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/3-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/3-1-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/3-1-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/3-1-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/3-1-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p4">Her investigation takes her through the streets of Shenyang, China, a city presented through a colorful, stylized visual identity that contrasts its beauty with the darker secrets hiding beneath the surface. What initially appears to be a calm and familiar environment gradually becomes something much more complicated as Hope uncovers clues surrounding her parents’ disappearance.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-45077" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/4-1.jpg" alt="Hope in the City screenshot 4" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/4-1.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/4-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/4-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/4-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/4-1-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/4-1-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/4-1-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/4-1-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p4">The heart of the investigation revolves around Hope’s sketchbook. Players collect clues, record observations, and use sketches to organize what they discover. Those individual observations can then be transformed into thoughts and insights, eventually allowing players to connect them into breakthroughs that push the investigation forward.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-45078" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/6-1.jpg" alt="Hope in the City screenshot 5" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/6-1.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/6-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/6-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/6-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/6-1-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/6-1-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/6-1-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/6-1-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p4">The game’s case structure also gives players control over how they pursue the mystery. Leads can be investigated in different orders, allowing players to decide which threads to follow as they attempt to piece together what happened to Hope’s parents.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-45079" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/7.jpg" alt="Hope in the City screenshot 16" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/7.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/7-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/7-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/7-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/7-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/7-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/7-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/7-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p4">Exploration plays an equally important role. Rather than simply moving from one investigation scene to another, players will explore Shenyang and search its streets for clues and secrets that may not be immediately obvious. The colorful visual style creates a striking contrast with the increasingly serious nature of Hope’s investigation.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-45081" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/10.jpg" alt="Hope in the City screenshot 8" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/10.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/10-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/10-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/10-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/10-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/10-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/10-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/10-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p4">As players make progress, custom cutscenes are triggered by their discoveries, directly connecting the investigation mechanics to the game’s narrative. Each breakthrough brings Hope closer to understanding what happened while revealing more of the story surrounding the city and the people within it.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-45075" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-1.jpg" alt="Hope in the City screenshot 2" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-1.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-1-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-1-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-1-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-1-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p4">With its combination of sketchbook-based investigation, exploration, player-driven case progression, and an emotionally focused story, <span class="s1"><i>Hope in the City</i></span> aims to make solving the mystery feel like a personal journey rather than simply checking off clues on a list.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-45085" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/11.jpg" alt="Hope in the City screenshot 9" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/11.jpg 1920w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/11-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/11-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/11-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/11-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/11-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/11-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/11-1200x675.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p class="p4">The <span class="s1"><i>Hope in the City</i></span> demo is available as part of the Choice Matters Festival, giving players an early opportunity to step into Hope’s investigation and begin uncovering the secrets surrounding her missing parents.</p>
