<p class="p1">Forget knights, orcs, and military squads—<i>Canvas City</i> throws you into a vibrant, urban rebellion where movement is more than just positioning. Every rail grind, ramp jump, and trick mid-turn becomes part of your strategy. It’s a fresh new take on tactical RPGs, where style isn’t just flair—it’s your weapon.</p>
<p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-35940" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS2_en-1024x576.jpg" alt="Canvas City screenshot 1" width="848" height="477" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS2_en-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS2_en-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS2_en-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS2_en-1200x675.jpg 1200w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS2_en-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS2_en-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS2_en-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS2_en.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 848px) 100vw, 848px" /></p>
<p>Developed by <span class="s2"><b>Disc 2 Games</b></span>, with support from the award-winning <span class="s2"><b>Black Salt Games</b></span> (<i>DREDGE</i>), <i>Canvas City</i> is all about fighting oppression through art, music, and movement. Players lead a crew of skaters and performers, turning the city into their stage while taking down rival crews and uncovering the truth behind a cultural crackdown.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-35941" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS3_en-1024x576.jpg" alt="Canvas City screenshot 2" width="848" height="477" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS3_en-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS3_en-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS3_en-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS3_en-1200x675.jpg 1200w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS3_en-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS3_en-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS3_en-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS3_en.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 848px) 100vw, 848px" /></p>
<h3><b>Movement as Performance</b></h3>
<p class="p1">Unlike traditional tactics games where characters simply move and attack, <i>Canvas City</i> turns the act of movement into a combo system. Rails, ramps, and vertical terrain let you chain tricks, rack up Style Points, and fuel powerful abilities. It’s about creativity as much as strategy—do you play it safe, or risk a flashy move for maximum payoff?</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-35942" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS4_en-1024x576.jpg" alt="Canvas City screenshot 3" width="848" height="477" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS4_en-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS4_en-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS4_en-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS4_en-1200x675.jpg 1200w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS4_en-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS4_en-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS4_en-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS4_en.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 848px) 100vw, 848px" /></p>
<p class="p1">As Technical Director <span class="s2"><b>Kris Nicholson</b></span> puts it:</p>
<blockquote><p>“Movement isn’t just getting from one spot to another, it’s part of the plan.”</p></blockquote>
<h3></h3>
<h3></h3>
<h3><b>A City Alive With Music &amp; Style</b></h3>
<p class="p1">The world of <i>Canvas City</i> pulses with personality. Crews aren’t faceless armies—they’re artists, dancers, and musicians, each with their own tactics and soundtracks. Composer <span class="s2"><b>David Mason</b></span> has crafted a score that shifts to match every opponent, from pounding percussion to energetic synths, making each encounter feel like its own performance.</p>
<p class="p1">Creative Director <span class="s2"><b>Johannes Otte</b></span> highlights the team’s vision:</p>
<blockquote><p>“We wanted to set this apart from the tactics games people might have played before by giving players a fresh new setting, replacing modern or fantasy armies with crews of artists, musicians, and dancers.”</p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-35943" src="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS5_en-1024x576.jpg" alt="Canvas City screenshot 4" width="848" height="477" srcset="https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS5_en-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS5_en-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS5_en-450x253.jpg 450w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS5_en-1200x675.jpg 1200w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS5_en-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS5_en-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS5_en-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yogomi.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/SS5_en.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 848px) 100vw, 848px" /></p></blockquote>
