STARNAUT, developed by Tokyo-based crim Co. Ltd, the creators of the acclaimed El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, promises a thrilling gaming experience. In this unique 3D action game, players take on the role of the STARNAUT, a surviving astronaut facing relentless waves of enemies. The goal? Beat them up and launch the Omega Rocket to progress to the next level.

The game introduces a roguelike system, adding an extra layer of challenge as players navigate through levels collecting coins before their oxygen runs out. On October 13th NEXON revealed its cinematic story trailer for their original IP, The First Descendant, developed by NEXON GAMES. The trailer shares new lore and background details for fans of the upcoming sci-fi co-op shooter. The dramatic scenes will also be featured in the upcoming Steam beta which will run from Thursday, October 20th, 2022 at 00:00 PDT until Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 at 23:59 PDT.

The new cinematic explains how almost a century ago humans were defeated by the Vulgus, invaders from another world, who were followed by the Colossi to decimate civilization. However, humans found a shred of hope for the future. Using the reawakened ancestors’ power, Descendants fought back with newfound strength to finally defeat the invaders. Humans survived, but a new threat emerged. Karel, the new malevolent Vulgus leader, is leading the

world to eternal darkness. Now, the Descendant must fight back once again to save humanity from the brink of collapse.

Groovy 60s Vibes, Four Survivors, and a Swarm of Aliens. The Anacrusis Launches on Steam and Xbox Game Pass This January!

The Stray Bombay team is excited to share their sci-fi four-player, cooperative first-person shooter, The Anacrusis, is set to release January 13, 2021 on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S as an Early Access / Game Preview title. Not only will The Anacrusis launch simultaneously on Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, and Xbox, the game also comes to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC on day one.

“We’ve built a core game that we’re really thrilled to share with the community. The Director 2.0 is able to push players of all skill levels to their limits, universal crossplay let’s people play with their friends on all platforms, and Game Pass lets us reach a much larger audience than we could otherwise,” said Chet Faliszek, Stray Bombay Co-Founder and lead developer on the Left 4 Dead series. “We’re really proud of the first three episodes of the game, which we’ll be releasing in January, but we want to integrate the community’s feedback as we finish the first season and beyond.”

About A Rat’s Quest
Mat is a young male rat that lives among a rat commune in an abandoned wine cellar, together with his best friend Toby and other rodents. Having felt in love with Nat, a female house mouse kept as a pet in the upper floors, he decides to become a Scavenger, for sneaking to his beloved somehow officially. Being from different worlds, they plot a plan to escape to “the outside” together. His overconfidence however puts them in peril’s way, and not everything in the commune is as it seems.

In a series of unlucky events, Mat finds himself alone, far away from the house. He must make his way back home, overcoming a journey across woodlands, caves, and swamps, defying overwhelming danger of a winged, poisonous, and scale-bond variety.
