Publisher Serenity Forge and developer Fullbright have announced that Springs, Eternal, a first-person narrative exploration game, will launch on PC via Steam on November 11, 2026. The release date was revealed during the Horror Game Awards’ Harvest of Terror Showcase, with a free demo available now ahead of Steam Next Fest, which runs from October 19–26.
Set at Stillwater Springs, a secluded hot springs retreat hidden among fog-covered mountains, Springs, Eternal takes players on a mysterious journey through winding paths, secluded pools, shadowy caverns, and other hidden locations. Exploring the resort at night, players will encounter unusual guests and learn their stories through branching conversations.

As the protagonist gets to know the people drawn to Stillwater Springs, fragmented memories of a romantic relationship begin to surface. These flashbacks gradually reveal more about the couple’s shared past and the events that brought the protagonist to the retreat. As memories and present-day encounters intertwine, players must piece together the truth behind their connection to Stillwater Springs and the secrets hidden within its grounds.

Explore a Mysterious Retreat
Springs, Eternal combines supernatural elements with a focused narrative experience and lo-fi visual design. Shimmering pixels and dithered fog create an atmospheric world where even the resort’s peaceful surroundings feel unsettling. Although the winding paths and dark corners can be ominous, the game leaves players questioning just how dangerous their exploration might become.

The retreat features more than a dozen unique characters, each with their own stories to share. Face-to-face conversations offer branching dialogue options, allowing players to uncover connections between the guests and the protagonist’s own experiences. Information gathered during one conversation can also unlock new dialogue and interactions elsewhere, encouraging players to revisit familiar locations and explore different paths.

As the map gradually expands, new pools, caverns, and unusual attractions become accessible, offering more opportunities to investigate the resort’s mysteries. Meanwhile, flashbacks provide a closer look at the romantic relationship at the heart of the story, revealing the lives the couple shared and the people they have become.

With its atmospheric presentation, interconnected conversations, and supernatural mystery, Springs, Eternal offers a narrative adventure centered on exploration, observation, and the complicated relationship between past and present.
