A new trailer for Lost in Tandem has revealed that the charming couch co-op adventure is officially set to launch on PC via Steam in July 2026.
Developed by Tempete Studio, Lost in Tandem is a hand-drawn 2D puzzle adventure that follows the journey of a young girl and a friendly robot known as a “Mech-ute” as they travel across a mysterious post-apocalyptic world. Together, the pair must work through environmental puzzles, uncover hidden relics, and piece together the story behind a seemingly abandoned civilization.

Designed with cooperative play in mind, Lost in Tandem supports couch co-op gameplay while also remaining fully playable solo. The experience is split across five distinct chapters, each featuring its own biome, puzzles, and secrets to discover.

Throughout the adventure, players will unlock new abilities and upgrades for the Mech-ute, helping the duo access new areas and solve increasingly complex challenges. Exploration also rewards curious players with collectible stickers used to customize the robot companion, along with hidden lore items, newspaper clippings, and environmental storytelling elements that expand on the game’s mysterious world.

One of the standout aspects of Lost in Tandem is its handcrafted presentation. The developers emphasize that every visual element in the game was created entirely by artists and developers without the use of AI-generated assets, giving the project a distinctly personal and painterly style.
