A zombie outbreak is bad enough, but when it involves hordes of undead sheep, llamas, and highland cows, things get a whole lot stranger. That’s the premise behind Flock Off!, the upcoming co-op action adventure from Reykjavik-based developer Bunkhouse Games and indie publisher Shoreline Games. The studio partnership was officially announced alongside a new trailer offering a look at the game’s frantic and bizarre gameplay ahead of its planned PC launch on Steam in 2026.

Set in an alternate version of Scotland during the early 1990s, Flock Off! throws players into the middle of a scientific cloning experiment gone terribly wrong. What was meant to advance livestock research instead sparks a full-blown “sheepocalypse,” as cloned animals return from the dead and begin roaming the Highlands in search of their next victim.

Players must survive against relentless waves of wool-covered enemies using whatever tools they can get their hands on. From bedrolls and traffic cones to chainsaws and improvised environmental weapons, nearly anything in the world can become part of the fight. Even your co-op partners might end up being used in the chaos.

Designed as a 1–4 player PvE experience, Flock Off! can be played solo or with friends. Whether players choose to quietly thin the undead herds alone or jump into the madness together, the game promises a mix of slapstick combat and cooperative survival as teams fend off increasingly dangerous livestock across the Scottish countryside.

“Working with the team at Bunkhouse on Flock Off! has been incredibly exciting,” said Keith Kawamura, CEO of Shoreline Games. According to Kawamura, the game’s addictive gameplay loop has already made it a favorite during internal playtests, and the publisher is eager for players to experience its strange but entertaining brand of co-op action.

For the developers, the project represents a passion-driven idea finally coming to life. Creative Director and co-founder Ólöf S. Magnúsdóttir described the experience of building the game as both joyful and surreal, noting that creating a game centered around battling zombie sheep has been every bit as wild as it sounds.
