Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game just leveled up in a big way. A massive new update is rolling out now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, introducing the most requested feature from the community: a full-fledged Level Editor. Even better, it’s launching alongside six brand-new maps, giving freerunners more ways than ever to push their skills to the limit. A Nintendo Switch release is also on the way.

Since its summer 2025 launch, Rooftops & Alleys has built an incredibly positive reputation, boasting a 97% user rating and a steady stream of updates shaped by player feedback. This latest drop is easily the game’s most ambitious yet, putting creative control directly into players’ hands.

Create, Share, and Go Wild With the New Level Editor

The new in-game Level Editor is designed to be powerful without being overwhelming. Players can craft their own parkour playgrounds using a wide range of environments, shapes, objects, and interactive elements. Want to design a precision-focused rooftop gauntlet or a trick-heavy vertical playground? You can do it—and then share it.

Custom maps can also be hosted for multiplayer sessions, letting you and your friends tackle your creations together across multiple game modes. The devs are clearly betting on the community here, and it’s easy to imagine this tool fueling endless creative challenges and viral runs.

Six New Maps, Including One That’s Literally in Space

If building isn’t your thing (yet), the update still has plenty to offer. Six expansive new maps are included for free:

    • The Arena

    • The Desert

    • The Airship

    • The Glacier

    • The Island

    • Space

Each map brings its own visual flair and movement challenges, opening the door for new lines, tricks, and high-risk combos. Whether you’re a veteran freerunner or just jumping in, there’s a lot here to explore.

    More Content Planned Through 2026

The devs aren’t slowing down anytime soon. This update marks a major milestone, but it’s far from the end. More features and content are already planned throughout 2026, keeping Rooftops & Alleys firmly on the radar for parkour fans.
