The Delta Quadrant is calling once again. Daedalic Entertainment and developer gameXcite have announced Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown, a story-driven survival strategy game that puts the fate of the U.S.S. Voyager directly in the hands of players. Officially licensed by Paramount Consumer Products, the game is currently in development for PC and consoles.
Set aboard the legendary starship Voyager, Across the Unknown reimagines the crew’s desperate journey back to Earth. Mixing exploration, resource and ship management, roguelite replayability, and tough decision-making, the game gives players a chance to relive—and reshape—one of Star Trek’s most iconic adventures.
Every choice matters. From diplomacy to tactical decisions, from crew dynamics to system management, players won’t just be following Voyager’s path — they’ll be creating their own. Each playthrough offers the chance to reconfigure the ship, change the crew’s fate, and explore new “what if” scenarios that diverge from canon while still honoring the series’ legacy.
“Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown is a project driven by passion—both for storytelling and for the legacy of Star Trek,” said Jonas Hüsges, COO at Daedalic Entertainment. “We’re excited to bring the U.S.S. Voyager crew back into the spotlight in a way that feels true to canon while offering new narrative frontiers to explore.”
Daniel Bernard, Game Director at gameXcite, added:
“This game isn’t just about nostalgia—it’s about giving players the conn and letting them chart their own course through the unknown.”
Players will command Voyager through 12 massive sectors of the Delta Quadrant, making hard calls on diplomacy, survival, and morality. While familiar characters will return, their destinies won’t be set in stone — your leadership on the bridge will determine whether the crew makes it home, and in what shape.
Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space, Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown promises a fresh narrative take on a beloved series, with replayability at its core.
