Gaming Factory and Quest Craft are inviting players to grab their aprons and roll up their sleeves for a taste of Pizza Slice, the cozy-yet-competitive pizzeria sim. A closed Steam playtest will run from August 26 to September 16, 2025, giving players a chance to try the game for free before it’s fully baked.
Sign-ups are open now and will remain open throughout the playtest period. All you need is a PC that meets the game’s requirements — though spots will be granted at the developers’ discretion based on testing needs.
What’s in the Playtest?
This early slice focuses on the game’s core loop: sourcing ingredients, prepping dough and toppings, baking pizzas, and managing your restaurant. You’ll get five in-game days to prove you’ve got the chops to run Tonio’s family pizzeria in the heart of a romanticized New York City. The goal? Ensure the basics are fun and solid before the devs expand the game with new features.
