JOYCITY is bringing street-style flair back to the pitch. Today, the studio announced FreeStyle Football 2 (FSF2), a next-gen 5v5 team football game built in Unreal Engine 5 and set to launch worldwide in Q2 2026. The game will release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, arriving day one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Developed in partnership with WOORE, FreeStyle Football 2 takes the speed and precision of football (soccer in North America) and injects it with personality-driven characters, deep customization, and a competitive focus. Instead of controlling an entire team, each player picks one character per match — creating a dynamic, squad-based experience where success depends on coordination and clever use of each character’s unique skills.
At launch, FSF2 will feature 12 distinctive characters, each with their own abilities that can shape the flow of a match. Whether you’re stringing together lightning-fast passes, firing off a power shot, or boosting your squad’s momentum, every move is designed to feel impactful in the heat of a match.
