10 Chambers, the Swedish studio behind GTFO, has dropped a brand-new gameplay trailer for their upcoming co-op heist FPS, Den of Wolves. The reveal hit two major stages this week — the Future Games Show and the Level Infinite Showcase — giving fans a deeper look at the high-stakes action and cyberpunk-inspired world of the game.
A New Spin on the Heist Genre
Created by Ulf Andersson — the original mind behind PAYDAY: The Heist and PAYDAY 2 — Den of Wolves is built around 4-player cooperative heists, but with a futuristic twist. Set in Midway City, 2097, players take on the role of criminals for hire working in a corporate-controlled dystopia. Jobs can involve industrial espionage, sabotage, or even assassinations — all while navigating infiltration mechanics, neural hacking systems, and good old-fashioned gunfights.
Andersson describes the game’s approach as a dual experience:
“Either you plan the heist, or you’re there to help carry it out. It’s almost like we’re making two games at the same time.”
The Sound of the Heist
Alongside the gameplay trailer, 10 Chambers also dropped a taste of the game’s soundtrack. Simon Viklund, the game’s Audio & Music Director (and a long-time Andersson collaborator), revealed the release of Logic Bomb, a high-energy track now streaming on Spotify and other platforms.
For Den of Wolves, Viklund is teaming up with Hollywood talent like Greg Ellis (Argo, Transformers) and Jamie Christopherson (Metal Gear Rising) to deliver a bold, cinematic soundscape that matches the game’s futuristic heist fantasy.
