Created with help from artists and organizations around the world—including Batuki Music Society and traditional Malian griots—Verse VR is an experience rooted in authenticity. It’s a rare chance to hear, see, and feel traditions from communities and regions often underrepresented in games and VR.
“Verse VR is an immersive journey through poetry, music and oral traditions from cultures around the world,” says Judith Cheung, Creative Director at Lofty Sky.
“Most people never get a chance to hear the songs and stories of my culture,” adds Thierno Soumaré of Batuki Music Society. “But for Verse VR, we worked with traditional Malian griots to bring those experiences to life.”
