Raise your Meems. Feed the World Tree. Embrace the weird.

Hungry Meem, the delightfully oddball generational colony sim from Drecom, has officially landed on Steam—available now with a 20% launch discount for a limited time. After charming Nintendo Switch players with its quirky creatures and chaotic evolution systems, PC players can finally dive into the madness and start building their own Meem-fueled civilization.

At its core, Hungry Meem is all about managing a growing community of joyfully unhinged creatures known as Meems. These little guys love nothing more than eating, sleeping, and evolving in the most unpredictable ways imaginable. As their caretaker, it’s your job to guide them through exploration, resource gathering, and intergenerational growth—all while helping the mystical World Tree grow by throwing the biggest feasts you can muster.

Think colony sim meets creature collector, with a dash of Metroidvania exploration and just enough chaos to keep every playthrough feeling fresh. You’ll breed new generations of Meems, each with unique traits, personalities, and wild transformations. Back in town, use your spoils to build everything from cozy Meem Houses and Love Nests to functional lumberyards, farms, and decorative structures to keep your community thriving.

And yes, feasts are a core gameplay mechanic. Gather your Meems, cook up special dishes, and throw legendary celebrations to power up the World Tree—unlocking new zones, stranger biomes, and even more peculiar Meem mutations. It’s cozy, chaotic, and completely unlike anything else out there.

“Hungry Meem is a game about legacy, community, and the weird joy of watching your creatures evolve into something totally new,” says Game Director Hitomi Gaku. “We’re so excited for PC players to finally jump in.”
