Wunder Entertainment is stepping into the survival genre with Lost Isle, its ambitious debut title, and you can get your first taste of the action during Steam Next Fest from June 9–16. A brand-new PC demo will be available, offering players the chance to explore a dangerous, procedurally generated fantasy world where survival is anything but guaranteed.
Set in a brutal open world that supports up to 200 players per server, Lost Isle combines PvP intensity with unforgiving PvE challenges. Think Rust meets dark fantasy—then crank up the danger. You’ll wash ashore with nothing but a knife, a candle, and your wits, and from there it’s a battle against both monstrous beasts and ruthless survivors all fighting to stake their claim.
This is no ordinary island. Twisted by forgotten magic, it’s a prison tomb for the fallen god Mauroth, whose chaotic energy pulses through the terrain. You’ll gather enchanted materials, forge gear, build fortified bases, and confront everything from skeletal warriors to forest golems to grotesque creatures that emerge after dark.
Combat is skill-based and brutal, emphasizing timing, positioning, and adaptability. Whether you master melee, archery, or magic, every fight is a gamble—and death means loss. But don’t worry: your progress in research and skills will carry forward until the next server wipe.
Lost Isle also leans heavily into its lore, with corrupted ruins to explore, ancient journals to discover, and dark secrets buried across high-risk zones. It’s a sandbox survival game where every day is a new story, and every betrayal could spark your rise—or your downfall.
The full game is slated to hit PC via Steam later in 2025, but if you’re ready to test your grit, the free demo launches June 9. Wishlist it now and prepare to fight, build, and survive in a paradise that wants you dead.
