The Nordic Game Awards 2025 have wrapped up, with winners revealed during a live ceremony on Thursday, May 22, at NG25 Spring in Malmö, Sweden. Streamed live from Slagthuset, this year’s awards marked another key moment in the annual Nordic Game Conference—an event known for spotlighting the creativity and craft of the Nordic game development community.

MachineGames Takes Top Honors

The spotlight was firmly on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle by Sweden’s MachineGames, which took home the coveted Nordic Game of the Year award. The action-adventure title also picked up Best Audio, making it the evening’s standout winner.

Now in its seventeenth year, the Nordic Game Awards remains the only industry celebration dedicated exclusively to highlighting game development across Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. This year’s show was hosted by voice actor and streamer Matilda Smedius and presented in partnership with AMD and PR Nordic.
