Ahoy, aspiring pirates! If you’ve been itching for a swashbuckling adventure, 3DClouds has just dropped a treasure chest of excitement with the demo for Trident’s Tale! Ahead of its full release in May on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, you can now get a sneak peek at this vibrant third-person pirate adventure on Steam.
Trident’s Tale invites players into a magical, action-packed world full of high-seas thrills and island mysteries. You’ll step into the boots of Ocean, a fearless female adventurer setting sail across a vast and colorful ocean teeming with unique islands, quirky characters, mind-bending riddles, eerie dungeons, and intense battles—whether it’s against monstrous sea creatures, rival pirate gangs, or other lurking dangers.
The demo went live just as a brand-new gameplay trailer premiered during the Future Games Spring Showcase Live from GDC, giving players a fresh look at the game’s exciting mix of on-foot exploration and naval combat.
3DClouds, one of Italy’s biggest game studios, is no stranger to high-energy titles, with Transformers: Galactic Trials, Paw Patrol World, and Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem under their belt. But Trident’s Tale marks an exciting departure as an original IP, crafted by their 60-person development team with even more projects on the horizon for 2025 and beyond.
