Ubik Studios, an Istanbul-based indie developer, is set to make its debut with Leila, a hand-drawn, narrative-driven point-and-click adventure. The studio has officially announced that Leila will launch on Steam on April 7, followed by a console release on April 17 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox. The game will also be available on GOG.
A Story of Reflection, Regret, and Rediscovery
Leila takes players on an emotional journey through the mind of a middle-aged woman as she revisits her past, confronts her choices, and searches for forgiveness. Using a unique technological device gifted by her daughter, players will piece together Leila’s memories through thought-provoking puzzles and beautifully animated storytelling.
This narrative experience is brought to life with hand-drawn visuals, Turkish and English voice acting, and 13 subtitle options, ensuring accessibility for a global audience.
