It takes a village to survive—and a fearsome god to appease. Kaya’s Prophecy, the upcoming card-based village builder from developers Jérémie & Thibaut and publisher Yogscast Games, is set to challenge players to build, battle, and bargain with a powerful deity when its demo drops during Steam Next Fest this February.

Can You Keep Your God Happy?
Surviving in the brutal jungle of Kaya’s Prophecy means mastering deckbuilding combat, resource management, and divine diplomacy. Players must grow their tribe, expand their village, and fend off threats—all while making sure their omniscient god doesn’t rain fiery destruction upon them.

Between careful card play and the occasional human sacrifice, players will need to balance survival with devotion, ensuring their deity is well-fed with offerings. Neglect your god, and the consequences could be… catastrophic.

    • Strategic Deckbuilding Combat – Gather powerful cards and construct the perfect deck to defend your people from danger.
    • Expand & Innovate – Unlock new technologies, tools, and structures to enhance village life—so long as the god approves.
    • Explore & Conquer – Send brave tribe members into uncharted lands to gather materials, face dangers, and uncover rewards.
    • Sacrifices Must Be Made – Keep your god satisfied with ritual offerings in exchange for blessings, boons, and survival.
