First Public Playable Demo for Eternal Strands Set to Debut at Tokyo Game Show 2024
Get ready to step into the world of Eternal Strands! For the first time ever, the general public will be able to play the highly anticipated action-adventure title at Tokyo Game Show 2024. Available on PlayStation 5, attendees will get an exclusive hands-on experience, diving into the vibrant Enclave to face off against one of the game’s nine epic bosses: the Ark of the Living Flame. On top of that, Yellow Brick Games’ CEO Thomas Giroux and Executive Producer & COO Jeff Skalski will be on-site throughout the event, ready to welcome visitors, media, and content creators at their booth in the general area of the convention.
Expanded Localization: Now in Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Brazilian Portuguese
In an effort to make Eternal Strands accessible to even more players worldwide, Yellow Brick Games has announced that the game’s interface and subtitles will be fully localized in three additional languages: Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Brazilian Portuguese. This follows the recent reveal of part of the English voice cast during Gamescom, with the full roster of English and French voice actors set to be announced at a later date.

We opted for a 2D format to offer our players a rich and varied visual experience. Collaborating with the studio Du Coup was both an exciting journey and a rewarding challenge, as we worked to blend our in-game aesthetics with the animated style. I believe we’ve successfully brought these two mediums together. For me, it’s also a fantastic way to showcase and celebrate the talent of other Quebec studios. And who knows?
