Diplomacy is Not An Option Leaves Early Access with 1.0 Launch in October—New Trailer Dropped at Gamescom 2024!

Big news for RTS fans! Door 407 has officially announced that their hit game Diplomacy is Not An Option will be leaving Early Access and launching its full 1.0 version on October 4, 2024. To celebrate, they’ve released an epic new trailer during Gamescom, and it’s packed with the kind of medieval chaos that’s become the game’s trademark.

Set in a brutal medieval fantasy world, Diplomacy is Not An Option challenges you to survive as a minor Lord who’s constantly under siege. With over 25,000 enemies bearing down on your castle, you’ll need to fortify your defenses, rally your troops, and engage in massive battles where every decision counts. It’s not just about brute force—you’ll also need to manage your economy, engineer defenses, and even dabble in magic if you hope to survive the onslaught.

Since its Early Access debut in February 2022, Diplomacy is Not An Option has garnered rave reviews and built a passionate player base. The upcoming 1.0 release promises to be the game’s most content-rich version yet, featuring a full story campaign that will bring the total gameplay time to over 100 hours.

  • At least 3 factions to follow, each with its own story arc
