After over 2 years of development and a successful Early Access period, Fling to the Finish has garnered a dedicated fanbase eagerly flinging their balls across the internet. The team at Splitside Games has worked tirelessly to enhance the game, incorporating player-requested features and injecting even more wacky fun. The 1.0 update introduces 5 new levels, unlockable characters, skins, stickers, banners, in-game abilities, and exciting game modes. Players who have patiently awaited the full release can now experience the tethered, co-op madness of Fling to the Finish on Windows PC through Steam.

A standout addition in the 1.0 update is the level “They’re Here,” where players face UFO abductions and must escape before getting back on track. With this update, Fling to the Finish offers a total of 16 vibrant and exhilarating levels to explore!

In Fling to the Finish, teams of two players cooperate in racing through 16 colorful obstacle courses while tethered by a stretchy elastic rope. This rope, akin to your connection with your teammate, can be a powerful asset or a challenging adversary based on your communication skills. Maneuver two characters up close and personal, bouncing, rolling, and flinging their way to the finish line!

The game’s true cooperative essence shines whether playing locally on a couch, online, or a combination of both. Local co-op groups can join forces with other players online to form parties of up to 8 people. For those seeking an extra layer of chaos, playing Fling to the Finish with shared controllers adds another dimension. Masters of the rope use it strategically to swing around obstacles and propel their partner to safety. While the game allows for a million ways to enjoy it, remember to keep the pushing and pulling confined to the virtual realm and not in real life!
